Can you replace just the vanity without doing the whole bathroom?
Yes. A vanity-only replacement is a clean standalone project when the rest of the bathroom is in good shape. We scope and price it separately — plumbing disconnects and reconnects, new vanity installation, and any tile or flooring work needed at the vanity footprint.
How long does a vanity and fixture update take?
A vanity replacement with fixture updates typically runs one to two weeks from signed proposal to finished install — depending on the vanity lead time and whether tile work is part of the scope. Your written proposal gives a firm timeline.
What's the difference between a freestanding vanity and a floating vanity?
A freestanding vanity rests on the floor — the most common type. A floating (wall-hung) vanity is mounted to the wall with no floor contact — it visually opens the floor area and makes cleaning easier, but requires proper blocking in the wall framing to support the weight safely. We install the blocking as part of the scope.
Can you match tile to an existing floor or wall?
Sometimes — it depends on whether the tile is still in production or if we can source a close match from a tile yard. We'll check availability during the consultation and give you an honest answer before you commit.
Is this work done under a Washington contractor's license?
Yes — we are fully licensed and insured in Washington. All plumbing and electrical work is permitted where permits are required.
Can you update the lighting at the same time as the vanity?
Yes — and we recommend it. Vanity, mirror or medicine cabinet, and lighting are best updated together for a coherent design. We coordinate the electrical work as part of the project so you're not managing a separate electrician.
